Community Seder

The LAJC Proudly Presents the
2014 Community Seder
Tuesday, April 15, 5:30pm Betty Ehart Senior Center

Come join us to celebrate the second night of Passover with a great story, great food, socializing, and Afikomen prizes for young children. Rabbi Stephen Landau will lead the Seder. The Community Seder will be catered by Walter Burke Catering of Santa Fe.

Menu:

  • Openers: Celery Sticks, Carrots and Cherry Tomatoes, Gefilte Fish with Red/White Horseradish, Matzo Ball Soup, Arugula and Red-leaf Greens with Sherry Vinaigrette.
  • Entrees: Lemon and Green Olive, Herb Rubbed Chicken or Cedar Planked Salmon with Berry Glaze or Halved Acorn Squash with Curried Veggies
  • Sides: Potato Kugel, Roasted Carrots and Asparagus
  • Dessert: Almond Coconut Macaroons, Chocolate Dipped Apricot, Flour-less Chocolate Ganache Torte Squares

Cost: Please make checks payable to LAJC Community Seder

  • $30 per adult LAJC member
  • $40 per adult non-member
  • $10 member children 5-12 years old; $20/non-member children; no charge for children 4 years old and under
  • Financial assistance is available through the LAJCno one should miss the Seder for financial reasons! Contact Sy Stange at religiouschair@lajc.org
We plan to begin promptly, so please arrive at THE SENIOR CENTER before 5:30pm.

 Deadline: In order to give the caterer an accurate count of attendees, please register for this event no later than April 7. To register mail your check with the form below to:
