Join us for a festive Shabbat celebrating the Jewish Center's 70th anniversary!
Shabbat day schedule: Saturday, August 24th. We'll start the day with a participatory Torah discussion at 9:30am, followed by Shabbat morning service from 10am-12 noon. Join old friends and new for a light bagel lunch and socializing starting at 12:15. We'll have two speakers,Linda Goff on Rabbi Leonard Helman's papers in the State Archives and Naomi Sandweiss on Pioneer Jews in New Mexico from the New Mexico Jewish Historical Society from 1:30-3:45pm. In the evening, enjoy a catered dinner, music, and dancing at the historic Fuller Lodge, Doors Open at 5:30pm, Buffet at 6pm, Program at 6:30pm, music, lawn games and dancing 7-9pm. Children’s events include afternoon crafts at the Jewish Center, and lawn games and a photographer set up at Fuller Lodge. We'll mark the end of the Sabbath with Havdalah at 8:20pm on the Fuller Lodge…
