HVAC system update and request for funds!

Help support the needed upgrade the LAJC HVAC system. We are also adding the much wished for air conditioning to serve our needs for years to come. See more on the bottom of the RSVP page -- no need to RSVP.

About the event
The Board, with the recommendation of the Finance and House (Building & Maintenance) Committees, approved on December 30, 2025 the replacement of LAJC’s mechanical systems: three 40+ year old furnaces (plus one newer unit that is compromised), our decades-old hot water boiler, and the installation of our first-ever air conditioner. This work addresses immediate needs and will also make the building more comfortable for summer services and large gatherings.
We have already raised $8,000 toward the total project cost of $29,370. If you are able to donate now or pledge for later, we would be grateful—your support will help us complete the project while protecting our cash reserves. We hope every congregant will contribute to the best of their ability. This fundraising campaign is hoped to be completed by March.
